About Happy Wheels
Happy Wheels is Jim Bonacci's side-scrolling ragdoll sandbox: pick an under-prepared racer, ignore the consequences, and try to cross a finish line. The free [browser build](https://totaljerkface.com/) is playable today. A paid Steam edition from Fancy Force is scheduled for 21 September 2026, with no ads, partial controller support, and the same community level browser. Open [Totaljerkface](https://totaljerkface.com/) and finish one featured level before you touch Steam. The getting started guide explains the finish-line rule.

Learn lean, eject, and specials
Arrow keys drive every vehicle, Z ejects, and Space / Shift / Ctrl change by character. The controls page maps keyboard and the new Steam controller layout.

When does Happy Wheels come to Steam?
Fancy Force scheduled the Steam edition for 21 September 2026. It is not out yet. Wishlist it on Steam and keep playing the free browser build until then. Details live on the Steam launch page.
Is Happy Wheels still free?
The HTML5 browser game at Totaljerkface is still free (with ads). The Steam edition is a paid product; the store has not published a price. Compare both on Steam vs browser.
Can two people play Happy Wheels together?
No. Happy Wheels is single-player. Multi-body characters such as Irresponsible Dad put extra ragdolls on one vehicle, but they are not a second human player. See the character roster.
Which languages are supported?

Where should a new player start?
